A.   We prefer you don't. Studio shoes are designed for indoor activities only.

Q.   How do I clean my shoes?
A.   We're happy you asked. We like clean shoes! First, remove the insole. Using a toothbrush, a small amount of mild detergent (no bleach please), and cold water, wash your shoes by hand. Rinse with cold water and let shoes air dry. Avoid putting your shoes in the washer and dryer at all costs. To clean Aqua shoes, remove insoles and rinse Aqua shoes thoroughly with tap water after every use in the pool. Air dry only, please do not dry in direct sunlight. Use a chlorine neutralizing rinse such as Suit Saver (brand on the market) after each wear. This not only keeps the shoes looking great, but neutralizes the odor that can be caused from the chlorine.

Q.   How do I find the shape of my foot?
A.   It may sound like a strange experiment but to find your foot shape and motion pattern, simply wet your feet and stand on a paper bag (or any surface that will leave an imprint). Now take a look at your footprint. Most feet will fall into one of these three "shape" categories:

  Normal arch
This means that you don't underpronate or overpronate. You have a neutral foot strike.
Look for neutral or light stability shoes (like the Lotus, Solace 3, and Moa Moa). they will give you the flexibility you need with ample support and durability.

.   High arch
This means that you tend to underpronate. Your foot strike tends to roll outward. Look for highly-cushioned shoes, Like any of our N-Gage shoes, that have plenty of flexibility to encourage foot motion. Stay away from motion-control and stability shoes, because they reduce the mobility of your feet.

  Flat arch
This means that you tend to over pronate. Your foot strike tends to roll inward. Look for motion-control shoes, like our MC2 Run and MC2 Walk, to control the motion of your heel. Stay away from highly cushioned shoes, because they lack the stability and control your feet need.
